Theresa Galizia is Senior Vice President & Chief Underwriting Officer of Berkley Accident & Health. She brings over 25 years of industry experience in underwriting, strategy, management, and data and analytics.

Theresa’s primary responsibilities include oversight of the Berkley A&H underwriting teams in all operating segments including traditional employer stop loss, group captive stop loss, managed care, and specialty accident. Additionally, Theresa leads the clinical underwriting team of nurses that provide ongoing support help identify and manage high-cost claimants. Theresa holds her MBA from the University of Hartford, and currently resides in the Hartford, CT area with her family.
